Quality marks

We believe the right solution is also a reliable solution. We can demonstrate this at ATC having all the quality marks and certificates in-house. This goes for both our materials and how we work – ISO, TÜV and Piek. Besides being important we particularly see this as logical..

We are proud to tell you more about our quality marks here. Would you like to know more about our quality marks and certification? Or would you like to receive some test reports? Contact us.

Official strength tests – ISO 1496 and CEN 283

We have had our trailer floors thoroughly tested since the very outset. We have different strength tests carried out on trailer floors in different thicknesses, planes and materials at an independent testing institute.

The floors are loaded with a wheel during these tests. This corresponds to the load exerted by a fork-lift truck. The floor must at least bear an axle load of 5,460 kg (2.73 tons per wheel). We have obviously thoroughly documented the test results and will be happy to share them with if you wish.

TÜV Nederland demonstrates that we meet the requirements made of reliability. We have had this specialist in safety and quality assessment carry out a variety of tests.

An example is how our hoisting eyes fitting in the ATC edge beam are TÜV-certified. That also goes for our custom-made floors. We have different planed hardwood floor finishes tested for smoothness: this is done by sliding wooden pallets, steel cages and plastic pallets over them. In these tests the different loads are slid over the floor in different ways to establish the anti-slip properties of an unsecured load on hardwood floors.

Stocking stores is increasingly happening in the evenings and during night hours. This can sometimes disturb people living in the vicinity. Regulations applying to retailers and the trades include measures to reduce noise pollution. This means that during loading and unloading from 19:00 hours to 23:00 hours the maximum peak is 65 dB(A). Between 23:00 hours and 07:00 hours this is 60 dB(A).

With a small, very simple and inexpensive adaptation we can supply a hardwood floor which is so quiet that the noise level stays below 56 dB(A) (tests for this are carried out in a Snaplock construction).

A solid, honest product

Thinking and acting sustainably is important at ATC. You can see that by our procedure and in our products. We have already been working with wooden materials for more than 25 years and we want to carry on doing so for a long time to come. This is why we take our wood from sustainably managed forests. We can also check that ourselves because we import ourselves.

With a floor from ATC you are certain that you have certified wood in your bodywork or trailer. And wood of the highest standard and quality to boot. ATC Trailer Floors is certified according to the standards and principles of the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC-C012809).
